Thermal Experience
- Lasts 2 hours
2 hours access to Thermal Area, includes use of a state-of-the-art gym, aromatherapy salt wall room, infrared room, steam room, sauna, foot spas, rain shower, pool and hydrotherapy pool.
Please note: This does not include use of robes or flip flops, however a towel is provided. We also have Aqua Aerobics on every Tuesday & Thursday 1:00-1:45pm, during this time there will be loud music poolside and people participating in the session. We also have Residents Children Swim Times daily 8-9am and 5-6pm.
SATCC: Using thermal facilities - During cancer treatments such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiotherapy, the safest recommendation remains to avoid the use of thermal facilities including, steam rooms and saunas. During cancer treatments the body may already be challenged with increased risk of dehydration, infection, cardiovascular stress, skin changes and lymphoedema. Heat experiences, such as sauna and steam where the temperatures generally exceed 42°C and cannot be individually controlled.
